Ultimately we found communication to be very poor. Our mortgage lender ended up reaching out to us directly after also getting poor communication from the broker. We reached out multiple times, including to Kingston Mortgage Solutions directly, after the broker stated they would refund us a surprise cost after closing. It turns out that it was just an empty promise to keep our business, as we were ignored each time. Due to poor communication I would not recommend the business.

We have worked with Fred Cooke on two occasions now, and were extremely satisfied with his services both times. The first time was back in 2018 when we purchased our first home. Fred was very knowledgeable and informative and looked out for us in terms of making sure our mortgage was within our means and he found us a good deal. He explained everything very clearly and made the whole process easy.We recently sold that property and were looking to get a refinancing solution for a different property we needed to renovate. We first went to our bank for this, ahead of time, explaining our needs, plan and timeframe. The bank mis-handled our application badly, and we ended up in a very stressful situation where the funds we had been "pre-approved" for were no longer available to us due to the timing of the renovation. We were left with a half-torn-down house and no funds to pay contractors with, after much stress and frustration.We called Fred after 4 months of being dragged around by the bank, and he found us a solution in 48hrs, and we closed on a construction mortgage 23 days later, much to our relief. Once the renovation is complete Fred will help us roll it into a regular mortgage.Fred was extremely on the ball the whole time, very responsive (by text and email) and the application portal and document-gathering process was easy-to-use, secure, and straightforward. I highly recommend his services to anyone, he is a life-saver!

My wife and I have had the worse experience with this company as in telling us to take $30,000 out of my saving to pay some things told us we had a locked in mortgage didn’t respond to us for over 3 weeks and is now just telling us it’s not going through, we got the run around from a person that works there a female I won’t mention names but she has done nothing but lie to us the whole time and I am writing this review so that people will think twice before using this company there is other choices in town and really if you run out of those I would look out of town and not get lied to since march
